Kyle is a POST-Certified firearms instructor with approvals from both the Orange County and Los Angeles County Sheriffs' Departments. He's been teaching CCW courses in Southern California for [X] years — long enough to have seen every version of nervous first-timer and every flavor of experienced shooter who thought they already knew everything.
He started Cert Instructor Pro because most CCW courses treat students like a compliance checkbox. Sixteen hours of sitting through slides nobody reads, a range session where half the group doesn't know if they did it right, and a certificate that technically qualifies you but leaves you unsure whether you'd actually know what to do. Kyle's approach is different: small classes, real feedback, and enough time to actually answer the questions people are afraid to ask.
Classes are capped at 12 students. Every student fires their qualification under direct supervision. Every question gets answered. That's the whole model.

POST-Certified Instructor
Kyle holds POST (Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training) certification for firearms instruction — the same standard used to train California law enforcement.
Sheriff Approved — OC + LA County
Kyle is individually approved by both the Orange County Sheriff's Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. His completion certificates are accepted for CCW applications and renewals in both counties.
Utah BCI Approved
For students who want to extend their carry rights beyond California, Kyle is also approved by the Utah Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) to teach the Utah non-resident CCW course.
